Lifetime Achievement Award


The award provides special recognition of an individual's lifetime of outstanding contributions to the development and improvement of Paediatric Nephrology care and training of next generation pediatric nephrologist in the country. The award recognizes a senior clinician who has served as a role model through service, research and teaching, aligning with ISPN’s mission and goals. The awardee has demonstrated national and/or international leadership to that end and have made significant contributions to ISPN. Without their dedication, nephrology would be far behind its current state in their home country.

Award criteria
Active, Honorary or Emeritus Member of ISPN for at least for at least 10 years and 55 years of age or older

Number of years in practice at least 25 years

Nomination based on his/her outstanding achievements for the development of Pediatric Nephrology with national and international impact that includes patient care, teaching and training, research; community outreach; Scientific reportsand publications. Contributions to the fields of Pediatric Nephrology that led to improvement in care of children with renal disease

Currently not a member of ISPN Committee but has provided outstanding service to ISPN through membership, participation in committees, participation in educational activities, presentations at ISPN Congresses, and/or service on the Council

National and International Awards in Pediatric Nephrology

Leadership and involvement in other local, regional and healthcare organization

Leadership & organization of patient care and research

The awardee will receive the following:
An engraved medallion and citation
Complimentary registration to ISPNCON for lifetime
